Assumpta: Tears well up in my eyes as I read your words. Your courage, inner strength and light strengthens me. I celebrate your freedom and your empathy. I resonate so much with your thought and insight. The culture that I came from may be different but the same ideas and expectations were taught to me. They are carried by women. It is intriguing how pervasive these ideas are that permeate across different regions, cultures and belief systems. Does it not come from the same root?
