when fighting for your life ~ invalidation isn’t nice

thought i was dead
you heard what i said
your burning question is
“did he have an affair”
like a bullet to my heart
who is the one cold and dead
as if violence doesn’t count
is it a scandal you need
impropriety is the coin you toss
did he do it or not
is that the story you want
i guess i needed an offense of a qualified sort
is this about religion for you
or what
