He’s an Amazing Boyfriend
but OH MY GOD don’t let him lock you down
I didn’t want to know information about him. I didn’t ask. But yet I heard. Whether she is still his girlfriend or has married him, he is an amazing boyfriend. He is taking care of her garden, he mows her massive lawn and they travel frequently.
Who wouldn’t be thrilled to have a boyfriend like this?
You would never imagine that the presentation of the beautiful package is vastly different than the stifling darkness of what is inside the box. But you don’t really get to the fathomless depths of the box until you are locked in. And he knows this.
He is my ex. I was locked into a marriage to him for over twenty years.
But he was an amazing boyfriend.
He brought flowers on the first date, opened doors for me and at the end of the evening, as he was leaving, he leaned in to kiss me on the cheek. He seemed caring, gentle, attentive, conversational, asked questions, listened well and knew how to speak the language of “emotional intelligence”.
He seemed sweet.
He planned hiking trips and fun adventures. He planned a picnic for us at a park. We sat on a blanket, ate and talked. He brought a book of travel destinations for us to look at. It was honeymoon destinations.
