I am sad, angry and grieved that you have endured so much pain and abuse. I am sorry that you have not had the support, connection, warmth and love that you deserved and should have been freely given to you.

It is a f****** amazing and beautiful feat that you have survived and have the warm, dedicated perspective to care for and love creatively- your daughter the way that you do. You are what superheroes are made of!

This article is powerfully vulnerable. This is the best piece I have read. You have gifts of heart, soul, mind, love and expression. It is so powerful how you have drawn out so much depth and nuance of this issue by laying out your very personal and painful experience.

You have done this from a well of authenticity and wisdom and pain.

Some will always be sold out to their agenda and programming. But I believe that your perspective will have impact on those that have an open mind.

I also stepped out of Christianity because of how I was treated (within abuse and marriage). I endured a toxic abusive upbringing, purity pressure and control and so many of those feeling that you speak of, seem familiar to me.
