I do love the Lion King crew's happy joyful singing. The Lion King movie is widely accepted and massively popular in our culture. I do think it could have been momentarily disturbing to some, if they were not announced prior. Loud voices could be perceived as shouting.

I appreciate your open mindedness and broad and critical thinking about this subject. Flying can be stressful because of the time demands, rules with potential repercussions, authoritarian figures that may reprimand, being confined in a compartment, and security and anxiety related to all of it.

I do agree that any other religion would not be tolerated. It is arrogant to think that everyone stuck in the cabin of the plane should want to hear this brand of religious performance. It is out of line and too aggressive to insist everyone on the plane should be subject to it. A lot of people suffer from religious based trauma (from pain, hatred, being rejected, devalued, demeaned and abused by Christians).

However, the same goes for television monitors all over airport seating, waiting and restaurant areas. Not everyone wants to have the choice made for them what they have to listen to and that there is no choice but to hear nonstop television. I don't want to have to leave, where I need to be, in search of a quiet place. I don't like having television broadcast to me without my consent, especially when you have had a never-ending, nightmare sequence of unfortunate travel events.
