I just read the link about him. The BBC didn't make a mistake by refusing to air the show that would have exposed him (as said in the link). They enabled and were covering his abuse. I can't help but wonder if they would have done the same for a female abuser? This is painfully disturbing. And I see the pattern of enabling abuse is much to familiar and widely practiced. It's rampant and despicable.
