I tracked the Lysa TerKeurst saga when religion shot her into the highest ranking for being the ultimate Christian woman for conforming to the legalistic "rules" of how women should behave (being loyal and faithful to a toxic man that seemed to not care about her). It disturbed me so much. I believe she has dealt with agonizing health issues and surgeries which may have stemmed from the anguish and stress of her toxic relationship with her husband. It was disturbing for me to see her isolate her life and also work to get him to "behave" better and then remarry him. I did not know the latest news from her fb post. I feel that she is a victim of destructive and toxic religious teaching. There are countless numbers of us who lose our health, all that we have known and many lose their lives trying to value their men and not ourselves . I despise how many of us are harmed within this structure.

Ravi Zacharias was one I chose to listen to (in the past). Initially, I thought he was okay because of his "wise, gentle manner".

There are no words strong enough to describe so many of these people that have caused and still cause destruction and pain.
