I wanted to believe that the United States is evolving and moving away from demonizing and devaluing people, especially LGBTQ. But religion is money and money controls politicians. Toxic, weak people always need leverage, and demonizing and polarizing select groups unites people.

Human behavior is universal. Religion is the perfect cover for doers of terrible deeds. And I see it often weaponized for control and manipulation. Vlads behavior is oh so familiar to me. There is always a goal.

And I have a long list of people that claim "I am a Christian"/ "I am saved" and they are instantly esteemed. A website called 'faith wire' is notorious for flapping and crowing about dudes with bad behavior claiming their salvation: Chris Watts - killed his wife, unborn child and little girls; claimed his salvation in prison and the people at 'faith wire' are singing his praises. He is only one of many. WTF!? Why are they celebrating his "salvation"? They don't understand psychology, abuse, con artistry, manipulation or how insane and FU they are. It is the same damn thing, celebrating and worshipping men like gods. All they have to do is show their christianity card and talk about it.
