It is an incredibly heavy load you have carried, especially with having to be the caretaker/adult for the family. I hope you find time and space even now, to reconfigure, restore and rest.
I realized in the last few years, with my mother, it was narcissistic abuse. It was a twisted and confusing way to live. I was the mother to her and her children.
