My eyes welled up with tears as I read your words. I feel the rage and injustice of your experience, the depths of destructiveness that I have experienced and see around me. Don't so many of us feel it: there is no viable help for us. If there is any hope, we have to help ourselves. And some have the audacity to ask: Why did you stay?! Like this is something I wanted.
