My previous reply saying "I did too though." and "He chooses his behavior." -After my reply I thought my words felt abrupt or "aggressive". That was not my intention. I had no negative tone or confrontational attitude within those. I had typed a much longer reply and took it down to that.

His home was dysfunctional. But those outside their house wouldn't know or care.
