how would you know me
without rewinding
as i am present
in revelry

and what of the path
that led me
to now
the road traveled
is present tense

of details
shall we not speak
only to say
my experiences
fire that forged me
bridges carry me
to now

this present moment
into which i plunge
immersed
sublime envisioning
vast contrast
landmark events
elevated ecstasy
of such a moment
as this
