Really good points, James. I haven't read that book and now I am thankful that I haven't read a lot of these. When you said "born again experience": it makes me think about how infuriating it is to me when Christians flap and crow about people such as Justin Bieber, Kanye, Chris Pratt and the murderer of his family, Chris Watts. All they need to do is peacock their salvation and love for God and viola, the Christians and media are wetting their pants and falling all over them. And toxic people know how to work the system.
