If it is a doorway what is on the other side?

what is surrender
what is the path for me
what shall i give up
release

shall i tumble into the ocean
or remain securely in my boat
either way an adventure
buoyant
i infinitely glide and float

i remember flying as a child
exhilaration
out of body
levitating
a sacred realm

remember how to fly
how long has it been
last night
lingering across the divide
i am flying once again

what does it mean
have i come back to myself
i am mesmerized
thrillingly free

what have i to relinquish
i want to be light
free of burden
free falling into ease and flow

what lurks in cracks and corners
what shall i abandon
how am i to let go
how would i see them off
wish them well
grateful for lessons learned
