Typically, victims do not speak about their experiences. Within the legal system, media and public opinion, the burden is pressed on the victim for not speaking. Also typical is when others come forward, victims are drawn to speak because they are hearing others have experience the same from the doer of the deeds. This is a common pattern. There is a psychology within isolation vs. courage and safety in numbers. But I want to see the burden placed on the doer of deeds, not the victims.
