Wow Adam, you are good a expressing thought and emotion. Your words are powerful. I am so sorry that all of this has been so agonizing for you and your family. I am though happy that you are free.

My circumstance is different, but in many ways it is very similar. If it were possible to encapsulate: lifetime of abuse, toxic spouse, escape, divorce and the co-conspirators/ religious people and how they have treated me and my children; enter Jon Steingard and his social media post, then his utube videos. My deconstruction began, May 2020. I was raised in "regular" Christian religion. It is devastating, but also such an amazing, fresh new world. I have been reading @Jonathan Poletti and @Kitty Williams on Medium. He writes and blows the lid off of religious "deception" and she writes about deconstruction and coming out of religious shame. (if you are interested) JP is like an endless bobsled ride of continuing deconstruction for me.
