"was able to read it": that part of your article struck me, that "there are no 'authorized' readers of the Bible. It is so simple but profound. How are so many of us so blind as to accept all that we have been told to believe?

It feels tragic to me that people like her (and I) have spent so much time and energy giving into the "system of religion". I understand how it happens, but again, hindsight is that it would have been better to have always been free of it.

My other takeaway from this is that (even though she (her work) was said to have been 'forgotten') - she proved that one person can have a large impact. Even if she helped one or a few others to be free, the impact is of value.
