Yes, you see it clearly. Yes, isn't it interesting to watch as they so quickly run over "love your neighbor" and "God is love" to get to hell and condemnation?
I am seeing so many people say "this is my fight", "this is my cause" and fervently spending energy calling out hatefulness and injustice. There is a category of people that will never change. There always has been and always will be abuse, hate and meanness from those that are toxic. We need to see who they are and understand the psychology of their behaviors and understand how to manage our interactions with them when it is not possible or feasible to avoid interaction with them.
I know there is teaching that tells us to "have faith" and "believe", "anything is possible"; "God can do all things". I followed that path. I think it is dangerous. I know, absolutely that there is a category of people that will NEVER change. I have proven it.
Ignorance is not always toxic, at least in some forms. It is just lacking new and more information and possibly deconstruction.
I believe we will see great and positive change. I also believe we need to focus on speaking to the categories of people that have the capacity to evolve and shift. We should not spend energy thinking the toxic ones ever would change. That is not their economy. Though these are the people that we must stand against. And we have to defend those that they are harming and be involved in supporting and defending just causes.
I believe it is people coming together with light and love that wins.
